Little George, Stroud

The first micropub to open in Stroud, serving a wide range of beers and ciders from a gravity stillage - plus bottled and canned beers, including a number from Belgium, together with gin from a microdistillery. Beer is available in pints, halves and thirds. The pub consists of two rooms in a converted shop - formerly the Absolutely Fabulous beauty salon - easily found in the centre of the town. It is simply furnished with 10 tables and space for around 40 people. A range of board games is available. You can bring your own food or order a takeaway - Fat Toni’s legendary pizzeria is just down the road and highly regarded Simpsons Fish & Chips is just over behind the Sub Rooms. Has been local CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year.
