The Tudor exterior makes this pub stand out from the other properties just off the main road in the center of Aston on Trent. This traditional village pub has two rooms with oak paneling in one room, and beams throughout both giving it a cosy and stylish atmosphere. A cheery welcome awaits families, dogs and walkers. It is popular for meals, and there is a choice of six beers with an emphasis on local brews from Derby and Nottingham areas.

The pub joins in with the Aston's Well Dressing event held at the beginning of July, hosting live music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
