This is a large hotel set in substantial grounds midway between Battlesbridge and South Woodham Ferrers. The extensive children’s play area includes table football, pool, crazy golf and a bouncy castle. Reasonably priced food is available every day until 9pm (8pm Sun). Live jazz on the last Tues monthly and band nights on many Fridays (see the website for details). An upmarket marquee caters for wedding functions. Accommodation available. (Approach from the A132 off the Rettendon Turnpike).
