Located away from the town centre , in the middle of Padgate village shops, this large community-focussed pub remains full of character and has not been made open plan as many town centre pubs. It is also one of a few pubs still to retain its bowling green outside at the back. Activity consists of some live bands on a Saturday (usually for charity) or karaoke and quiz nights on Tuesday. No real ale.
