Large pub set back from the main A57 with lounge and family dining areas, extensively refurbished early 2024 and now with an emphasis on food. Outside there is a childrens' play area, large self-contained grounds with lots of outside seating. Breakfast served on Saturday. Changing beers tend to be from Cheshire breweries, supplied via SIBA's 'local list'. Opens early for breakfast Saturday and Sunday. Managed by the same team that run the Turf & Feather, Locking Stumps.
