This friendly community pub on the edge of Belper town centre re-opened under new ownership in 2018. Serving Bass and a changing selection of real ales and ciders to be found on Real Ale Finder, the Thorn Tree has been a finalist in Amber Valley CAMRA Pub of the Year competitions and was the winner of the 2019 Amber Valley CAMRA Winter Ale Trail. Tuesday evening events alternate between Quiz, Acoustic, Craft Club and Book Club - see Facebook for details.
