Known locally as "The Woodies", this friendly open-lounge pub has four large TV screens to guarantee a view when the big match is on. Beers are sourced from a range of local and national breweries, and a chalkboard advertises the upcoming beers. A rear balcony with a heated smoking shelter overlooks a secluded open beer garden, and there is also a decking area at the front of the pub. Local Pub of the Season winner Spring 2024.

A darts team regularly meet on Wednesday evenings. and karaoke night is hosted on Thursday evenings. A DJ hosts a disco on Friday nights and live music from local performers is on Saturday evenings. A small function room complete with TV is available for parties of up to 20 people on request. The pub is a big supporter of 'GlastonBeoley', a local music festival which raises funds for local charities, and there's a piano next to the bar for budding musicians.
