This Pub is Permanently Closed

Late 20th century residential house converted to a pub in 1987. From planning documents the original owner retired in 2003 but leased it out to three different tenants who could not make a of it and the pub closed in 2007. Attempts to sell it as a pub failed, two of the reasons being that it looked like a typical modern house, not a pub, and its remote location. Change of use back to residential granted 28/01/2011.
