After a sympathetic and extensive restoration by Country Creatures, the family of boutique hotels and pubs, the Wild Duck in Ewen re-opened its doors on 2nd March 2026. Originally the gardener’s cottage to nearby Ewen Manor, The Wild Duck Inn is steeped in history and has been a favourite haunt for generations of locals, ramblers and visitors alike. This will be a pub for locals, for visitors serving great beer, an extensive drinks list and a seasonal and focused on fantastic Cotswolds produce . Grade II listed. Historic England list UID: 1090077. Reputed to have parts dating from 1563. Enlarged to sides & rear in the 20th century.
