This Pub is Closed Long Term

Traditional pub, opened up and consisting of one area with a darts board, and a larger "saloon" style bar. The kitchen is currently closed but takeaway food can be brought in. The conservatory can be used for functions, provided they aren't too rowdy. Check with the management for details. There is a car park, but spaces are limited.

Food is now being served again after a kitchen upgrade.

Historic Interest

The pub used to have a covered passage to the left leading around the back. This was enclosed when the pub was expanded into the shop nextdoor in the early Eighties. The extensive grounds at the back were sold off for flats during the same period. All this info from Jim Murray, an ex-guv'nor.
