Accredited for beer quality 2022
A Grade II-Listed inn standing in the old market square of one of A E Housman's "quietest places under the sun". Some of the beer has very few beer miles to travel as the pub has its own Clun Brewery situated to the rear of the pub. In addition real cider is kept on draught. It has an L-shaped bar with low beams, a small room to the right and a new adjoining dining room which has been extended into the property next door. Jam nights are held once a month. Clun is the starting point for walk number 7 in the Walking with Offa series. Once owned by the Wrekin Brewery of Wellington, the White Horse has been in many editions of the Good Beer Guide since 1997. The three beers from the in-house brewery vary according to season.
