The White Horse is an attractive half-timbered black & white building by the main road (A3090) at the western end of the village. There is a small car park at the front, plus many other spaces at the side and rear of the pub. Also at the rear is a smart covered patio and a grassy garden overlooking the local cricket ground. The front entrance leads directly into a large comfortable low beamed lounge; and there is a small local's bar on the right. Both bars feature large open fires. Beyond the lounge is a large airy dining annexe always laid for food. An extensive menu is available for lunch and dinner, served in both the lounge and dining room. The local's bar is split level with a small library (mainly modern books), a dart board, and a television (not often on) perched on a piano.
