This friendly, popular two-bar roadside pub has been in the Guide continuously since 1998 and was awarded Southern Hampshire CAMRA 'Pub of the Year' 2011. It has been run by the same landlord since 2002 and serves four Flower Pots beers directly from the casks behind the bar. The pub is split between two rooms, warmed by a double-sided wood-burning stove, with good home-cooked food served at lunchtimes. Saturday afternoon visitors often find live music being played. In the garden there is a smoking shelter and in summer, time can be whiled away on one of the many picnic tables enjoying the delightful floral displays and excellent cask ale. Boxed cider served is Weston's Rosie's Pig and Old Rosie.
