"The Welcome" has been a pub since at least 1826 and probably for much longer. There is a large upstairs restaurant with the compact, but cosy, pub bar on the ground floor. There is a front terrace with seating, as well as a larger garden area at the rear, including a children's play area, heated marquee and separate smoking area. Food from a fairly extensive menu is served in all areas.
