Small frontage, traditional pub with a welcoming, local feel. Primarily a two storey timber framed and plastered, pantile roofed, grade II listed building dating from at least the 17th century. The inn sign hangs from a wrought iron bracket. Step down from the front door into the simply furnished main room with its painted, wood fronted bar and many exposed beams. The beams continue in the pool room which is beyond, at an even lower level. The car park, large covered patio and garden lie to the rear.
Following a refurb and change of licensee the pub reopened in January 2021. Its now offers two real ales sourced from the Greene King list of their and other breweries' beers.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
