This Pub is Permanently Closed

The location given for the pub is very approximate but it may have been close to the junction of Lea Road and Broadmore Lane on the south side of Lea Road. The licence was refused in 1907 and the pub closed in January 1908. At the time of closure the licensee was Sarah Bailey, and the owner of the property was Charles Thomas Felkin McQueen; £220 compensation was awarded to the owner. The building was demolished in about 1965
