Handy for travelers on the busy A57, the Tollemache Arms was acquired by Robinsons in 2008 and extensively refurbished in 2026. Wooden floors and smart wooden furniture throughout. Dining-focused but drinkers are welcome. Large covered area, with outdoor bar, and garden to rear. Separate outdoor play area for children. Four hand pumps serve cask beers from Robinsons and there are numerous keg ale and lager offerings. Multiple television screens in the bar area show sport from terrestrial channels. Dogs welcome in some areas.
