A large pub, popular with all ages, close to the centre of the town and just a short walk through from the bus stops on Market Street.

There are separate seating areas on split levels as well as an airy conservatory with barrel tables and an outside area for al-fresco drinking.

The guest ales are usually two Scottish and one English, often Directors or London Pride.

Several National Trust Scotland properties are nearby.

May close earlier than stated hours.
