Reopened after a very long closure in January 2023. High quality refurbishment by Caldmore Taverns including Rooftop Terrace. Six cask beers available. Early Bird offer of £3 pint of house cask beer from Mon-Fri from opening till 4pm. On Tuesdays any 2 cask ales for £6 all day. Pub games (eg Carrooka), darts and pool available. A pleasant 3Km walk from Congleton station along the Macclesfield canal and then down onto the Biddulph Valley Way. 200 metres from Congleton end of Biddulph Valley Way. There is a Bingo night on the first Tuesday (6pm).
