Reported to be Wales' oldest pub dating from 1147. Reopened in mid May 2019 after a 3 year rebuild. The date 1147 has now been incorporated in the pub name. Almost unrecognisable inside but still tastefully done. Car park at front and a larger one to the rear.

Historic Interest

Pub said to date from 1147 though the Grade II listing says the building is of later 17th century origin. Historic Wales reference 11352
