Bowls, football, tennis and social activities are well established at this club, established in 1887, although cricket is no longer played. There are active walking and cycling clubs. There is a large room available for functions of up to 150 people. Access road is on a bend where The Combs joins Church Lane, to the left of Hall Lane and not accessed via Rectory View. Large car park. Short mat indoor bowls and/or table tennis in Winter. Rotating, well chosen guest beers, usually one session pale and one stronger pale from brewers such as Ossett, Elland, Abbeydale. Opening hours vary, especially in Winter. £6 membership.
