This Pub is Permanently Closed
Re-opened at start of June 2018 as the Temple Bar in this historic Georgian building, it is now completely separate from the rest of the old hotel which is being converted into luxury holiday lets. The bar sits above Matlock Bath riverside promenade with lovely views across the Derwent Valley.
Daz and Lisa are offering four Changing Real ales which will normally be locally sourced, and a selection of pump and boxed ciders including Derbyshire ciders as well as Derbyshire wines & a Derbyshire gin. Local Bands provide Live music in the bar on Saturday evenings 8-10pm.
This new husband & wife team provide a warm and friendly welcome to all customers old and new, with walkers and dogs on a lead always welcome. They will be doing snack meals in the future where all the food will also be locally sourced.
