Imposing Victorian hotel formerly owned by Bass. Large single room inside, but with semi-separate pool area, refurbished in 2003. Meals Monday to Saturday evenings and Sunday lunchtime. Occasional disco and karake evenings. Terraced beer garden at rear, mainly paved and decking.
