Attractive and lively locals pub, adorned with hanging baskets in summer. Traditional public bar and snug, both '1950s decor', plus a large comfortable lounge to rear, with a conservatory beyond. Garden includes the oldest bowling green in Burton, created in 1908.

Quiz night Thursday; occasional karaoke on a Friday; live music some Friday and Saturday evenings. (See Facebook page for details.)

Can cater for parties, wedding receptions, funeral wakes, etc.

Historic Interest

Built in 1880s. Named after Henry William Paget (aka Lord Paget & Earl of Uxbridge) who was created the 1st Marquess of Anglesey after the battle of Waterloo, in which he lost a leg. The family owned a considerable amount of land in and around Burton.
