The Swan is the oldest pub in Bampton and was the original lodgings for the masons and craftsmen who were hired to enlarge the nearby church. The pub has recently been renovated, with solid oak fittings, polished wood tables and boarded flooring, to give it a wine bar feel. The large fireplace contains the original bread oven from 1450. A large public car park, on the site of the old railway station, is close by. The Swan has won numerous food awards.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (usually from Salcombe Brewery) and 1 regular beer.
