Cask Ale not available

This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

Licensed Restaurant.

Bridge House, in the historic Charter town of Bampton on the edge of the Exmoor National Park, has been offering food, refreshment and a place to stay for over 100 years. In the early 1900’s known as the “Cyclist’s Rest” it became one of two Temperance Hotels in Bampton.

Our “proper good food” is all made in house at “The Bridge” utilising the fantastic range of seasonal quality ingredients this area has to offer.

There is outside seating in our lovely walled garden and for those colder months we light the log burner in the dining room and front parlour.

Accessibility access - On a hill, lots of steps.
