This Pub is Permanently Closed

A Gray’s pub serving beer direct from the cask. Real fires. Caravan and motor bike rallies held on the seven acres of grounds. Food available lunchtimes and evenings (until 5pm Sun). Occasional live music. Children and dogs welcome. Deuchars IPA is the beer which is usually available, although occasionally a different beer is offered.

Pub closed 2017. Planning application 19/01163/FUL | Demolition of the Sun & Anchor Public House and erection of 6 dwelling houses. Refused 11 Feb 2020. Appeal to Secretary of State upheld later in 2020.
