This Pub is Temporarily Closed

Hotel & Restaurant.

The original building was constructed around 1860 as a fishing inn serving the small community, but has become THE place to eat. Until 2010 held 1 Michelin star for 13 years, but food served is still of an incredibly high standard. The seafood items are harvested within sight of the Hotel and you may meet the fishermen and divers who supply the hotel in the bar.

Food available (nearly) all day, Lunch 12-2:30, Afternoon tea 3 - 6, Dinner 6-8:30.

Please note that during the "quiet" season November to March the bar MAY be open, but at irregular times and days. Opening times are posted on the door. However, given the distance to travel to get there please phone 01854 622449 to check.

[Update 16 Oct 2024: Pub closed for 18 month refurbishment under new ownership, expected reopening April 2026.]
