This Pub is Permanently Closed
Demolished over the 24th/25th October 2015 weekend to make way for six houses which have their addresses as Sprat Row, Hagbourne Road.
Formerly a typical back street boozer, with a garden and a car park, in the middle of Didcot. Popular with the locals. Was owned by Enterprise Inns (now EI Publican Partnerships).

P14/S2449/FUL 7th August 2014 - Demolition of public house and erection of 6 no. dwellings and associated works - Planning Permission on 30th September 2014.
P15/S0358/FUL 11th February 2015 - Amendment to consent no. P14/S2449/FUL to alter Plot 6 (3 bed) and removal of planning condition 9 (Code 4) - Planning Permission on 9th April 2015.
P15/S0394/DIS 12th February 2015 - Discharge of conditions 3 (materials), 4 (surface water) and 6 (vision splay) on application ref. P14/S2449/FUL Demolition of public house and erection of 6 no. dwellings and associated works - no decision recorded.
