Formerly a community-owned pub restored to its previous status as an historic ale house in 2017 before being acquired in November 2023 by Pub People Co as part of their pub estate.

Purchased by Holbrook Community Society in 2017. (255 shareholders). For a period the pub was run by the society, but in 2023 the society sold the freehold to the Pub People Company.
