The former New Inn is now open as The Palfrey which was previously located off Sadler Gate in Derby and well known for it's food quality. Completely refurbished inside and out late 2021 with a modern take of industrial style featuring a stone slab floor and brass top bar. Located on the main A6 Belper to Derby road, to the north side of the village, it has great views over the Chevin.
