Everything a lively local should be, with a good cross section of customers and activities. Refurbished in 2013, now run by enthusiastic landlord. L shaped bar area. There is a large skittle alley /function room decorated with old concert posters, which host regular live music. The dart board is always in use To the rear there is a pleasant courtyard and smoking shelter where regular barbecues are held in summer.
