Large pub and restaurant serving Wadworth ales. Split in to various cosy areas with plush seating and dining areas linking to a conservatory area and external patio-garden with covered areas. The front bar area has rustic finishes and smart seating areas.

A full menu is available plus lighter meals such as sandwiches, jacket potatoes and bagettes at lunchtimes. Breakfast served from 10am and roasts on Sunday. Occasional kitchen take overs from local food companies, including Sri-Lankan and Thai cuisine.

Historic Interest

Originally the Brown Jug the pub was totally transformed in July 2016 to a large pub/restaurant converting the former skittle ally/function room in to a very impressive extension to the main pub and re-named Sup & Chow. In 2019 the pub reverted to a more pub-like character and to being the Brown Jug again.
