Excellent street corner local, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. There is live music at the weekend. Parts of this very handsome pub are very ancient, going back to medieval times, and it originally fronted the sea before reclamation of land, hence the name. Meal times can change depending on the season. Beware - the public bar slopes downhill alarmingly, so it’s not that you’ve had too much!
Opening times vary with the seasons. Those shown are from their Facebook in July 2023.
Report June 2023: 'not currently offering an evening meal service however they are now offering Sunday roast lunches'.
