Friendly cafe bar near railway and bus stations serving people of all tastes. Cask beers from nearby Storm Brewery and from Wincle in the Peak District above the town, one is usually a darker brew, Interesting and homely surroundings with real fires in winter, originally inspired by a ski chalet. A well-chosen playlist at a volume that allows conversations. Local Treacle Town pies at weekends. Exhibitions of works by a local art group. Pop-up food events and regular music performances.
