This Pub is Temporarily Closed
Originally a private house and dates in part from 1782. A pub by early C19 and named after the 6 bells in St Andrew's Church. Easy to find near the London Road roundabout despite not having a proper pub sign. Extensively refurbished September 2018, including cellar and toilets. Has a number of separate seating areas and an L-shaped bar. Taken on by Rahman Aziz with his Fusion Kitchen but still retaining a bar. For sale January 2024 (Savills) and to let on GK web site. Closed suddenly March 2025 and apparently sold to 'an investor' who plans to re-open it Easter week-end.
