Alas this pub closed on Wed 27th March 2019 and shown below is the first of a series of five planning applications (which mostly varied some details of this original plan). The building has been converted into a commercial unit on the ground floor and flats above, which were first advertised for sale in March 2026.

The following planning application was submitted by Jordan Evans, of Singleton Swansea Ltd to Swansea City Council on Mon 22 May 2023 and approved on Wed 13 Dec 2023:

Located in the centre of Swansea opposite the bus station and grand theatre, this pub caters for the locals in this area of Swansea. Serving two reasonably priced real ales and one Old Rosie cider, the pub is normally quiet but also shows a wide range of sports. A pool table and darts board are located at the rear of the pub.
