A pleasant pub in a village with the ruins of a Roman town on its outskirts. The cosy traditional bar looks like it was originally three rooms. The bar counter is in the largest area with a large fireplace, quarry tile floor and is furnished with settles, chairs and tables. The other areas are carpeted and have Britannia and other cast iron tables with settles and chairs, there is a lot of brassware and old blackened beams.
