Nestling in a corner of historic Boroughbridge’s market square, this 13th Century inn is popular with locals and visiting tourists alike. A Grade II-listed gem, well-kept and comfortably furnished, it also has a resident ghost. The pub comprises a small cosy snug and a larger bar with open fires and good-value beers served through a small hatch. There is a large restaurant to the rear where Thai food is served Tuesday to Saturday, and can also be ordered for takeaway.
