This Pub is Closed Long Term
Friendly family run pub built in 1939 located in the hamlet of Nadderwater on the edge of Exeter. It has a lively bar and quieter lounge, offering a wide range of traditional homemade food, and an extensive Italian menu that is fresh and locally sourced; a specials board changes regularly. No real cask ale, but Branscombe Vale Brewery bottle-conditioned ales available, plus three to four real ciders. There is a logburner fire, flat screen TV, and dart board, plus shove-halfpenny and dominoes are played. Regular live events take place, check website for details. There is a beer garden, smokers shelter and a large car park. Families and well-behaved dogs are welcome. An unusual feature is the ability to offer overnight camping facilities for camper-vans, caravans and campers alike. Bed & breakfast rooms are also available.
