450 year old timber-framed building on the main road which was built as a farm house and became a pub in the 1840s. It was well refurbished in late 2010. The T-shaped interior sports oak floors, bench seating rescued from old churches, handmade chunky tables, an inglenook fireplace with wood-burning stove and framed photos of old Histon. From the main entrance the bar is along the left wall with seating that area as well as in the the areas beyond.
In Autumn 2024 the pub freehold was purchased by Individual Pub Company, sister company to Milton Brewery. After refurbishment, including relocating the cellar, it reopened in early November. Its six handpumps currently offer a range of Milton beers. British brewed Moravka Czech style larger is one of its keg options.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 3 regular beers.
