This Pub is Permanently Closed

A community pub which opened in 1940. A planning application made in 2014 for demolition and housing redevelopment was rejected but a further application was approved in September 2015 and the pub closed on the 8th October 2015. An application to demolish the pub and build 11 houses on the site was submitted in June 2017. The pub was demolished in 2018 and houses built on the site by Tree Top Homes Ltd.
