Licensed since 1764, owned by Flowers & Son 1920s (taken over by Whitbread 1960s) then Morrells and now Greene King. Re-launched regularly, recently as a sports bar and grill. Back in 2025 as a pub. Function room at the back called the Barn.

Historic Interest

Listed as Red Lion Hotel. House late C17 licensed 1764, refronted 1840.
