Conversion to three dwellings granted September 2021.

A successful village local having been in the same ownership for over 20 years. Whilst there are two public rooms, the larger one is very much given over to dining. The community aspect is reflected in the stock of books, and jigsaws (including some for children!), videos, participation in the local darts league, and a very substantial amount of money raised for charity. At various times in the past it has been owned by the Wrekin Brewery of Wellington, and was also a part of the large local estate of the Shrewsbury & Wem Brewery.
