This Pub is Permanently Closed

An interesting looking building from the outside built in traditional pub style, on a free-standing corner site and immediately opposite the Wells Terrace exit from Finsbury Park station, there's loads of wood panelling and a central bar with a strong ex-pat Irish feel - indeed an alternative name of O'Loideain's is used; a Gaelic name, which when Anglicized became Lydon, Lyden or Leyden. Why it is used here is not known. Despite the outside signage advertising cask beer, none is sold.
