Situated besides a spur of the canal and almost directly underneath the railway line. A survivor of when this locality was an industrial centre it wears this heritage with pride. There are two rooms served from a central bar with railway memorabilia generously littered about. It is in walking distance of the town centre by going to the end of Friar Street and taking the footpath under the ring road. Up to three beers normally on with cobs and other snacks available too.
