Extended in recent years to cope with the popular restaurant trade, this original 18th-century free house has a bank of three handpumps serving 2 regular beers and a guest. There are wooden settles and chairs, upholstered armchairs and sofas by the entrance with a large TV to the right that shows Sky Sports. The main restaurant opens out at the back and a large restaurant used during busy times is to the left of the main entrance. There is good disabled access throughout. The inn supports darts, pool and other teams, and is close to the railway platform; it is on the Atlantic Line Rail Ale Trail. Advisable to book for the Sunday roast. Live music held two nights a month.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
