This Pub is Permanently Closed

Now demolished to make way for an as yet new building development This was originally known as the Druids Arms and later as the Overdraught, this traditional two bar ale house was within easy walking distance of the station, town centre and football/rugby ground. It was immensely popular with locals and visitors alike. The left hand bar was sometimes used as a function room. Winner of the Halifax & Calderdale CAMRA Pub of the Season award for summer 2001.
