This Pub is Permanently Closed

Previously a well-established pub dating from the early C18 (owned by Punch Taverns at closure), it was converted into a computer shop around 2010 and later into four apartments. It was one of 24 pubs in the Branch area that made it into the second edition of the Good Beer Guide in 1975. It was described as 'a friendly pre war local' and the beers available were Bass Worthington Bitter and M&B Mild.
