This 16th Century country Inn is situated at the foot of the Quantock Hills. Walkers & Mountain Bikers are always welcome. It is the starting or end point for many excellent walks and conveniently located on the Coleridge Way. There is a large welcoming open fire in the colder months and a pleasant garden in warmer times.

The pub features many beams decorated with brasses. A new orangery has been opened as a restaurant dining area. Families are welcome. Reputably several ghosts - 6th most haunted venue in Somerset! Virginia Woolf and husband stayed two days during their honeymoon in 1912.
